Corey had the time of his life at last Monday! He strutted around the play area with comfort and ease. He also had a big smile on his face, and his tail wagged the entire day. This 2-year-old Lab mix has still got some pup left in him, but there doesn't seem to be a mean bone in his body—all he wants to do is play!
Corey was stoked to get out of the shelter for the day. He practically dragged TWB employee to her car. On the way to TWB, he had his head out the back window as if he didn't have a care in the world; he was living the life.
The party continued once he got to The Watering Bowl. Mr. Personality was a bit taken aback by all the dogs at TWB. However, all of them greeted him kindly, and within minutes, Corey was off and running.

He spent most of his time running around in the outside play area. He made tons of friends, including Stray Rescue alums, Cabbage and Olivia. It is amazing how rescue pooches seem to know each other even if they have never met. It's a special kinship they share.
Corey can't wait to find his forever family. Yes, he can be a bit rambunctious, but he is eager to please and willing to learn. With a little training and lots of TLC, Corey will easily be in contention for best dog ever.

Corey is currently staying at the Stray Rescue Pine Street Shelter, but would make a perfect family dog. If adoption isn't an option at the moment, consider fostering this sweet lab.
Stray Rescue is in dire need of foster parents. They are working on completing the construction of their Pine Street Shelter, but in order to finish it, they desperately need foster parents. Please contact Barbi if you are interested in fostering Corey or any of the other wonderful pooches they have down at Pine. All of us at TWB and Stray Rescue thank you.
