"A NEWtritious You!" Nutrition Education Program

St. Anthony's Medical Center is offering a six-week nutrition education program, beginning May 11 and running through June 15. Classes are weekly on Wednesday evenings, in the auditorium on the first floor of St. Anthony's.

Classes are taught by St. Anthony's licenced dietitions Cathy Feldmeier and Lisa Galati. They will guide participants through an in-depth nutrition and weight-management program, focusing on developing healthy eating habits for a lifetime.

Participants receive individualized meal plans with specific guidelines on what to eat, exercise and fitness guidelines and information on healthy cooking. The dieticians will share what is in their own refrigerators and pantries, as well as tips on dining out guilt-free and staying motivated. They will also provide information on the latest research and recommendations on cholesterol, triglycerides, diabetes, high blood pressure and weight management.
