On Sunday, April 14, 2013, the German Cultural Society will host their annual Wurstmarket from 12pm to 5pm at their location in South St. Louis; 3625 S. Jefferson Ave. St. Louis, MO 63118. The event will feature the German Cultural Society’s own recipe of German/Hungarian Sausage. The sausage dinners are available for purchase can be eaten at the German Cultural Society and carry outs are available. Music will be provided by the Deutschmeister Brass Band and everyone will be treated to a dance performance by the youth members.
The German Cultural Society is a not-for-profit, nonpolitical organization, whose purpose it is to foster educational and benevolent activities, to preserve and advance the German culture, customs, and language, to cultivate German music, songs, and dances in traditional costumes, all of which make up the German folklore, tradition, and fellowship.
