Notre Dame Preschool Closing, Invitation to Open House

The Ministry Corporation of the School Sisters of Notre Dame Central Pacific Province announced in January that Notre Dame Preschool, located at 320 E. Ripa Ave. on the Notre Dame campus in south St. Louis County, will close at the end of the 2012-13 academic year.
Notre Dame Preschool began in 1974 in response to an unmet need in early childhood education. Over the years, the enrollment steadily increased from the first group of 25 children until it reached its peak of 237 children in the 1994-95 school year. It is estimated that more than 5,000 children have been served by the preschool in its 39 years.
An Open House will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 to celebrate the memories and contributions Notre Dame Preschool has made to early childhood education in the Lemay/South County area. Former students are invited to take a tour of the school and to give thanks for the work God has done through the preschool.
For more information, contact Notre Dame Preschool at 314-633-7029.
Have memories of Notre Dame Preschool to share? Please email them by May 15 to Sister Ann Marie Bonvie, SSND, at abonvie@ssndcp.org.
