St. Louis based non-profits Monarch jewelry and International Crisis Aid are partnering to bring awareness to the very real problem of sex trafficking facing our city and our world on Thursday, November 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, located at 6101 Telegraph Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129.
Anyone wishing to get involved in helping rescue these young women is invited to attend on November 1. An excerpt from the highly acclaimed documentary, Nefarious: Merchant of Souls will be shown featuring real victims and traffickers sharing their firsthand accounts, as well as international humanitarian leaders providing expert analysis. The ICA will speak about their work in rescuing and restoring victims trafficked in St. Louis and abroad, and attendees will learn more about how they can get involved. More information can be found at www.monarchjewelry.org and www.crisisaid.org, or by contacting Kay Bach at 314.375.1106 / kay.bach@faithstl.org.
