St. Anthony’s Sponsors ‘Women Heart’ Support Group

St. Anthony’s Medical Center is sponsoring a free “Women Heart” support group, which is open to all women in the community.  It meets on the first Tuesday of every month.

Women Heart is a national network of women living with heart disease, whose goal is to educate, train, support and advocate for all women living with or at risk for developing heart disease.  St. Anthony’s group is one of only two groups in the St. Louis area.

The next meeting will be Nov. 6.  There will be a “meet and greet” from 6 to 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.  Meetings will be held at St. Anthony’s Cardiac Rehabilitation, in Suite 105 of the Physicians Office Center, 10012 Kennerly Road, on St. Anthony’s campus.

 Kathy Stewart, who was diagnosed with coronary artery disease in 2007, will facilitate the meeting.  Light refreshments will be served.
