An Even Better Idea For a Christmas Present

I believe I have come up with a wonderful idea for a Christmas present.

This present will require sacrifice. It will require faith. But in the end, it will make our society safer.

I would like to suggest that Democrats voluntarily turn in their guns to the police.

This present would help reduce the number of murders and suicides, especially among women and children, that occur in Democrat households where there is a gun.

It would also help reduce the danger that police officers face when they are called to a house in some Democrat-run jurisdiction because of a domestic dispute where a gun and Democrats are involved.

I know most Democrats who own guns would oppose this because many of them adhere to the mantra of “do as I say, not as I do”. But I call on them to sacrifice these ideas and have faith that their Christmas present would do a greater service by reducing violence and protecting the most vulnerable of society, by removing gun ownership from the political group most likely to abuse it.
