Food Lovers Flock to Fall Flavor Festival
The third annual event filled the parking lot at Hancock Place Elementary.
The and Hancock Place Elementary have jointly held the Fall Flavor Festival for the past three years. Friday night was the most recent, and was just as successful as the previous two.
More than 500 residents came to the school on the hill to sample the fare from area restaurants, delis, pizza and donut shops. Each entrant paid $5 for a ticket, and the proceeds were split evenly between the chamber and the school.
Hancock students from all levels volunteered to take tickets and help pass out food.
