Sofia Hatzigeorgiou for getting a bus driver's attention when her classmate was having a seizure.

“I was sitting next to my friend and we were talking... then he started to stare and began lying down,” Sofia said. “I ran to the front of the bus and said, 'Mr. Rich, something is wrong—my friend is sick.' I was very scared, but I was also thinking 'I hope he is feeling all right.'"

Sofia's plea allowed her classmate to get the proper medical assistance he needed.
