Gepetto: Born to be a Star

Gepetto is not in the belly of a whale, but right up the road!

The first thing one notices about Gepetto is his ears; they are so stinkin’ cute. After that, one notices that the rest of Gepetto is pretty darn adorable as well. At 25 pounds, Gepetto is the perfect size for cuddling (trust me, I tested this out). He also isn’t afraid to cut loose and play with all of his friends. In a nutshell, Gepetto is the whole package, and whoever adopts him will be very lucky. Unlike Pinocchio, I cannot tell a lie!

Gepetto may not look like the Disney version of Pinocchio’s puppet maker, but he could definitely star in his own Disney movie. He is an animated character that seems to always have a smile on his face. He better get an agent, because his future is hot!

At 4 years old, this Terrier mix is past the puppy stage, although he will still need some initial training. Gepetto is a sweet boy that aims to please his people. He listened well to staff, and got along great with every dog at daycare. He played all day, and curled up in a ball in the back seat and slept soundly on the drive back to the shelter. I really should have taken a picture, because it was precious.

Gepetto is currently staying at the Stray Rescue shelter on Pine Street, and cannot wait to find his forever home. He isn’t picky; he even gets along with cats! The only requirement is unconditional love. For more information on this star, check out Stray Rescue, and while you are there, check out all the other pooches available for adoption. Gepetto might not be the one, but there are more than 200 dogs available for adoption on any given day. Check Stray Rescue out; what do you have to lose?
