Good Morning Mehlville and Oakville:
- Weather: The great weather has returned. Today will be sunny with a high near 71 degrees. The sun continues Saturday and Sunday with highs of 71 and 80, according to the National Weather Service.
- Saturday is the 22nd annual Mehlville-Oakville Foundation Walk-Run and 5K. Head out to Jefferson Barracks at 8 a.m. for the 5K, where trophies will be awarded to the first male and female to cross the finish line. At 9:30a.m., students from every school in the district will compete in a school spirit competition. Then, end the event with a 1.1-mile walk on the fitness trail. This is the foundation's largest fundraiser and provides money for on-going educational projects in the district.
- This weekend, the lovely Angie Atkinson (Angela@angelaatkinson.com) will be guest-editing Mehlville-Oakville Patch. I'm headed back to my alma mater (Mizzou) for the 100th Homecoming celebration. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
