• Weather: We evaded bad weather yesterday as the forecast called for thunderstorms and hail. Today, the National Weather Service predicts a 30 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m. Other than that, it's supposed to be mostly sunny with a high around 83 degrees. 

• Gas: Phillips 66 at Union and Green Park is the lowest at $3.39 a gallon. The Lindbergh and Union Phillips 66 and Sam's Club are at $3.41 while the Tesson Ferry Quik Trip is at $3.47, according to stlouisgasprices.com.
