- Weather: We're still under an excessive heat warning until 7 p.m. tonight, according to the National Weather Service. However, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly after 1 p.m. Before that, it's going to be sunny and hot with a high around 98 degrees. The heat index is supposed to be as high as 111.
- Gas: Sam's Club is back down to $3.50, with the Phillips 66 and Quick Trip at $3.51 and $3.52, according to stlouisgasprices.com.
- Later today, we'll have a story about the possible redistricting of St. Louis County from the 2010 census. Do you think the boundaries should change?
- At last night's MFPD board meeting, board member Bonnie Stegman said they were starting to look into search firms for a new chief, but made no formal decisions.
