This week’s Pooch of the Week is a lad that goes by the name of Holstein. Holstein was supposed to come to TWB a few weeks ago, but still had to be neutered, so went in his place. Since then, he has been waiting patiently for his turn to come back around.
His turn finally came, and he couldn’t have been more excited! Hostein was on his best behavior on the car ride from the shelter to TWB, sitting very still in the backseat. Once he got there, however, he was ready let loose and have some fun!
Holstein was stoked to spend the day at TWB, and was quickly greeted by fellow Stray Rescue alums, Nuke and Cabbage. Seriously, Nuke seems to know all the Stray Rescue pooches and does a great job at introducing them to the pack and making them feel welcome!
Holstein, a 1 and a half year-old Terrier Mix loves to have a good time! He was constantly on the move, and spent his time at TWB playing chase and mixing it up with all of his new friends. Much like a former Pooch of the Week, Holstein is a beautiful mix of black and white. Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney said it best, “Ebony and ivory go together in perfect harmony.” They also make for one good-looking pooch!
