Herman: Dreaming Big

The Stray Rescue staff was so excited to have Herman spend a day at .  The 1-year-old pup has so much energy that, as hard they try, never really gets burned. Herman, however, wasn’t quite sure about it.  

Herman has been on the run for a large chunk of his short life, and just when he was getting settled, he thought he was being uprooted. The poor thing didn't realize that life only gets better once you are at Stray Rescue!  

Luckily, Chelsea, a two-year-old Weimaraner, helped him feel at ease the whole ride out to TWB.  She helped Herman relax and let him know about all the fun stuff headed his way.  

Once at TWB, this young Shepherd mix was still a bit uneasy.  Stray Rescue volunteers and staff let TWB know that Herman has tons of energy, but it was hard to imagine that as Herman timidly sat in the corner. TWB staff wondered if they were talking about the same dog.  

Slowly but surely, Herman started coming out of his shell.  He started exploring the play area, introducing himself to his new friends, and before we knew it, he was moving and shaking with all the other dogs.   He did not want to go when it was time to go home! 

Herman absolutely loved stretching his legs and running around the play area. Once he got going, it was hard to get him to stop.  He also had a huge smile on his face the entire time.  It was obvious that he was having the time of his life.  Hopefully the good times continue to roll for Herman.  This sweet boy sure deserves it!

Herman hopes one day to have a home he can call his own.  He dreams of a family that loves him unconditionally, a large yard where he can run and play, and all the milk bones he can eat.  Herman has the sweetest, most adorable mug. One look into those puppy dog eyes makes it hard not to wish that all of his dreams come true.  This pooch deserves it all!
