Jester: Now Looking For His Forever Home

There is something about Stray Rescue dogs. There can be a room full of 50 dogs, and they will immediately find each other. It happens time and time again at The Watering Bowl, and watching these dogs that have once lived a very rough life enjoying themselves never gets old.

Although Jester is named after someone that might be characterized as a buffoon or prankster, he is quite well-mannered and intelligent. He did great on the car ride to TWB; there wasn’t a peep from the back seat. Once he got to TWB, he spent the first part of his day exploring. He loved all the new smells and meeting new friends. It was obvious, however, that one dog in particular held his attention. Olivia, a Stray Rescue alum, was smitten with Jester and their love story began.

Olivia once went by the name of Our Little Girl. During her short life, she had suffered much tragedy.Thanks to the people of Stray Rescue, however, today she is a happy, healthy puppy dog that gets to come and play at TWB with her brother Cabbage on a weekly basis.  

Olivia and Jester clicked instantly, and it was impossible to tear them apart; not that anyone wanted to. It was obvious they made each other very happy. Cabbage kept a watchful eye on Jester, but he remained quite the gentleman with Olivia all day long.  

Jester was sad when it was time for Cabbage and Olivia to leave for the day, but his day with Miss Olivia is one that he will never forget. The memories of that day are sure to help him through the long nights at the shelter.

Jester, a 2-year-old Terrier mix, is an all-around awesome pup. He is great around other dogs, intelligent, and quite the looker. He can’t wait to start his new life with his forever family.
