Josei: The Watering Bowl's Princess
Josei, a 1-year-old Shiba Inu, is a gorgeous pup!

This week's "Pooch of the Week" is a princess. She is spoiled rotten, as she very well should be. Josei is the diva of The Watering Bowl, and we wouldn't have it any of way.
Josei, a 1-year-old Shiba Inu, is one of those lucky pups that get to go to The Watering Bowl everyday! She absolutely loves spending her days with all of her furry and human pals.
Josei can be a dainty, prissy girl, but she also knows how to cut loose with her friends and have a good time. She has two favorite activities that she likes to partake in at TWB. The first one is modeling. Josei knows how to strike a pose better than any of those models on America's Next Top Model. Seriously, if there were a dog version, Josei would be crowned the winner, hands down.

Her other favorite past time is tug of war. She isn't afraid to take on any dog, regardless of their size. Josei may be small, but she is one tough cookie, and gives it her all in every tug of war match she partakes in. Her favorite opponent is Holly, a 1-year-old German Shepherd. Those two could play tug of war from sun up until sun down.
Josei is always dressed to the nines. During football season, she wears her Green Bay Packers cheerleading uniform, and around Halloween time, anything goes! Her dad often paints her nails, although TWB staff has requested that he not paint them red, as they were quite scared she had hurt herself the first time she sported red nails!

Shiba Inus, by and large, are an intelligent breed, and that is obvious with Josei. Surprisingly, Josei is the only Shiba Inu that comes to TWB frequently. Along with being intelligent, they are also very independent dogs. Shibas are not for everyone, but if you do your research and determine that they are the right breed for you, consider rescuing a Shiba Inu.
