Kelvin: Full of Energy and Love

was made for dogs like Kelvin. He can go and go and go, and just when you think he is worn out, he is ready to go again. Luckily, that is what TWB does best - wears out the unwearable dogs. The proof was the sleeping Kelvin in the back of the car on the way back to the shelter.  Another satisfied customer!

When TWB employee came by Tuesday morning to pick up Kelvin, a Stray Rescue employee let her know that while Kelvin is the sweetest most loving boy, he has so much energy that she was worried the other dogs might not be able to keep up with him.  TWB employee laughed, because we hear this a lot.  It turns out, there are a lot of energetic pooches out there, and TWB is the perfect place for them to be.  Kelvin had no problem finding friends who loved to play as much as he does.

Kelvin entered TWB play area like he was a regular.  He quickly made friends with all of the dogs as well as the staff.  He rastled with Germ, a young Great Dane pup that loves to play.  His best friend, however, was Buster, a Rottweiler mix pup.  Oddly enough, it was Buster’s first day at TWB as well.  Watching them romp and run, one would not have been able to tell that they were newbies.  They moved around like they had been at TWB hundreds of times before.  Kelvin and Buster played the day away, and by evening, both of them were tuckered out.  Two more unwearable dogs worn out by TWB!

Kelvin is a 1-½-year-old Terrier mix.  As stated above, he has lots of energy and loves to be on the move, so his ideal family would be one that likes to stay active.  Couch potatoes need not apply.  He is sweet and loving around people, so he would do well in a family with children, as long as they can keep up with him!  For more information on Kelvin, visit Stray Rescue.
