Man Found Dead in Burning Mehlville Duplex

A man was found dead in his burning duplex at 140 Kinswood Lane early this morning in Mehlville.

The man has been identified as 40-year-old Mark J. Woods, who lived in the home.  Police are investigating the incident as a homicide. 

According to police, the Mehlville Fire Protection District received a call from a neighbor who saw a fire at the house around 5:45 a.m.  When firefighters arrived, they discovered a fire inside the home and found the man.
