MoDOT Announces Weekly Regional Work Zones

Oakville motorists traveling out of South County this week may be affected by various regional road construction work zones. 

MoDOT will close one southbound and northbound lane on I-55 between Route M and Route Z in Jefferson County during daytime hours as crews restripe the lanes for the opening of a third lane in each direction. 

Various lanes on northbound I-270 in South St. Louis County will be closed this weekend between Gravois and I-44 for bridge repairs.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

·        I-55, St. Louis City, Delor Street across I-55 is closed for bridge replacement. 
·        I-55, St. Louis City, Holly Hills across I-55 is closed for bridge replacement. 
·        I-55, Jefferson County, on ramp from Route M to Southbound I-55. 
·        I-55, Jefferson County, northbound I-55 exit to Route M closed until mid 2011.

·        I-55/I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., eastbound lane on Poplar Street Bridge closed.

·        I-55, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., two northbound lanes closed at Delor.

·        I-55, Jefferson County, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., one northbound lane closed at Route M.

·        I-55, Jefferson County, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., one southbound lane closed at Route M.

·        I-270, St. Louis County, starting at 8 p.m., two northbound lanes closed between Gravois and I-44.

Saturday, May 7

·        I-270, St. Louis County, 24 hours, two northbound lanes closed between Gravois and I-44.

Monday, May 9

·        I-55/I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., eastbound lane on Poplar Street Bridge closed.
