MoDOT to Close Three Lanes of Interstate 55 at Union Road Overnight

The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor Fred Weber, Inc., will close three lanes on northbound and southbound Interstate 55 tonight for bridge painting, weather permitting.

The following is a list of lane closures:

  ·    Northbound I-55 between Reavis Barracks Road and the Union Road  bridge from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday.

  ·    Southbound I-55 from Bayless Avenue to the Union Road bridge from 11:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday.

Only the right lane of each direction of I-55 will be open overnight. Painting will occur on the new Union Road bridge completed last November.
