Oakville Softball to Face Lindbergh for Third in Conference Tournament

Oakville takes on Lindbergh Thursday for third place in the Suburban West Conference softball tournament. The Tigers trounced Kirkwood and then went on to defeat Rockwood Summit, falling to Eureka in the semifinals. 

Mehlville went 0-for-3 in the tournament, losing to Seckman, Northwest and then Parkway West in the consolation bracket. 

The 16-team tournament anchored from the Chesterfield Athletic Association and featured teams from both the Suburban West and South Conferences. 

The teams included: Eureka, Lafayette, Marquette, Fox, Kirkwood, Lindbergh, Mehlville, Northwest, Oakville, Parkway Central, Parkway North, Parkway South, Parkway West, Rockwood Summit, Seckman and Webster Groves.
