Playful Petey the pooch is positively a perfect fit to become part of a permanent family pack! Tongue twister aside, this sweetheart is quite the catch, and hopefully soon will make a family very happy!
Petey got to play at The Watering Bowl last week and had so much fun with all his new friends. Although this was his first time at TWB, it was as if he was already part of the pack—he fit right in. As soon as he got there, he was off chasing his new buddies, rolling on the ground and having an all-round fantastic time!
Besides being fun-loving, Petey also has a sensitive side. This 2-3 year-old Jack Russell Mix loves cuddling with people, being petted and can’t turn down a belly rub! He does well around calm children over the age of 5 or 6, and has no problem sharing the household with other dogs or cats.

Petey’s favorite hobby at home is chasing bunnies and squirrels in his backyard and practicing his high jump. Petey has got serious skills in that area! If he ever entered a high jump competition, he would have a good chance at winning gold! For that reason, he needs a home with a secure fence that is higher than the standard 4-foot chain link fence. That way, he can practice his jumping without fear of getting lost.
