Point Elementary Students Selected for Kiwanis Honors

Five students won awards from the South County Kiwanis Club.

The South County Kiwanis Club recognized five students from for leadership and academic achievements.

The students were nominated by their teachers and received a certificate, a coupon for a meal at and other awards.

Congratulations to the following students:

Fourth-grader Janell Harris for work habits and study skills

Fifth-grader Kate Herberholt for being cooperative and hard-working

Third-grader Brooke Minda for her improvement in math

Fifth-grader Morgan Murphy for her great leadership skills

Second-grader Jessica Brown for her improvement in reading
