Police Blotter: $500 in Baby Formula Stolen from Walmart

The St. Louis County Police crime report from April 14 to April 22 includes incidents occurring in Mehlville, Oakville and Lemay.

April 14

  • A purse, wallet and driver's license was reported stolen from the 9970 block of Kennerly Road. 
  • A radar detector and GPS was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 10000 block of Kennerly Road. 

April 16

  • Police are looking for two males who stole 40 cans of Enfamil baby formula and a bag of charcoal, valued at $595.20 from . One suspect repeatedly stole goods from the store in the last five days and has been using two different vehicles. One is a red, Pontiac four-door with Illinois plates and the other is a white, Chevrolet Impala with temporary Illinois tags.  
  • Money and jewelry was reported stolen from the 9800 block of Clyde Avenue. 
  • A victim from the 4700 block of Oakridge Park Drive stated that he filed his federal taxes on April 11 and received a rejection notification on April 15 that someone else used his social security number and had already filed a return. The victim contacted the IRS, who told him to contact the Federal Trade Commission. The victim filed a police report for identity theft. 

April 18

  • Police arrested a suspect for robbery in the second degree after the suspect stole merchandise from the .  
  • Electronics were reported stolen from the 900 block of Broadway Avenue. 
  • A blue, 2011 Nissan Cube (AB0Z1Y) was reported stolen from the 3800 block of Lemay Village Lane. 
  • Vehicle parts were reported stolen from the 3600 block of Reavis Barracks Road. 

April 19

  • Electronics were reported stolen from the 800 block of Military Road.
  • Money and electronics were reported stolen from the 800 block of Forder Road. 
  • Police arrested two female suspects after stealing clothing from  at the South County Mall. One suspect stopped when confronted by loss prevention staff and the other fled in a maroon Pontiac Grand Prix with temporary Illinois tags. The vehicle was spotted on Interstate 55, exited at Loughborough Avenue and drove east. While being pursued, the vehicle lost control and crashed into two separate houses. The suspect was taken into custody. Police found a large amount of stolen items in the car from the mall as well as Walmart. A third suspect fled on foot and was not caught or identified. 

April 20

  • Police arrested a suspect for assault in the second degree. The suspect threatened a victim with a machete on the 2600 block of Park Hill Circle. 
  • Electronics were reported stolen from the 3800 block of Berview Lane.  

April 21

  • A debit card, wallet and money was reported stolen from the 3400 block of Lemay Ferry Road.  
  • A red, 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 (4UJ485) was reported stolen from the 2100 block of Telford Drive. 
  • A red and black, 1993 Kenworth Truck was reported stolen and then recovered from the 4600 block of Lemay Ferry Road. 

April 22

  • A victim was head-butted on the 1200 block of Covington Manor Drive. 
  • Electronics were reported stolen from the 4400 block of Lemay Ferry Road.
