Residents Report Stranger Cruising Near Roda Court

Police released a statement Tuesday that said several parents reported that a man at the 4900 block of Roda Court had asked their children if they wanted candy. 

The man is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s with brown hair and a goatee. Police said the man drove past the common ground in the area holding candy out of the car window. The children said he was possibly driving a gold Ford Escort with the trunk open. 

Extra patrols have been set up in the area and police urge residents to contact either the Third or Fourth Precinct if the man returns.
