RFT: McArthur's Among Top 5 Bakeries for Pastries, Gooey Butter Cake
Riverfront Times readers helped this Mehlville shop rank among the best in St. Louis.
RFT readers chose McArthur's, 3055 Lemay Ferry Rd. in Mehlville, among the St. Louis area's favorite bakeries for pastries, the publication revealed in its Restaurants 2013 guide.
The bakery ranked third for its gooey butter cake, and fourth for its pastry/donuts. Rankings were determined by reader votes, according to RFT.
Missing from the list was Lemay's Donut Stop, which was named one of the best 50 donut shops in the nation by Saveur Magazine earlier this year.
