Remind your children to be good today, because according to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education website, March 2 is School Principals Day.
No, this doesn't mean every child has a free pass on bad behavior and won't get sent to the principal's office if they misbehave. But rather, students, parents and teachers can take a moment and thank their school principal- the person in charge of running the school and eating the leftover cafeteria food.
Joking aside, Mehlville-area school principals dicipline, reward, organize and oversee schools ranging from 300 to 1,800 students.
