Stray Rescue has some wonderful, gentle, fun loving pooches at their shelter, and this week’s Pooch of the Week is no exception. The first thing one might notice about Silver is that she is in fact not silver. Instead, she is this beautiful white-coated, brown-spotted beauty that is easy going and will certainly make someone very happy hopefully very soon.
Silver BH is a go-with-the-flow kind of gal that is up for almost anything. She recently went on a hike with some other dogs from Stray Rescue, and not only had a blast, but was a perfect angel. This girl likes to have a good time, but loves to please people even more.
Silver was one social butterfly during her day at The Watering Bowl. There was one friend, in particular, though, that she stuck to like glue. That friend was , another Stray Rescue dog available for adoption. These two played, rastled and roamed around together all day. Who knows, maybe they will get adopted together and become sisters. Wouldn’t that be a treat!

Silver, a spayed 1 ½ year old Terrier mix, is currently staying at the Stray Rescue shelter on Pine. All she wants for Christmas is that special person that enjoys spending time with her. If you are able to give her that gift, visit Stray Rescue for more information.
If fostering or adoption is not an option right now, remember that there are many other ways to help the dogs at Stray Rescue. The Watering Bowl is holding a drive through the end of the month, collecting paper towels, 55-60 gallon garbage bags, bleach, laundry detergent, and monetary donations. Stop by today and give. After all, ‘tis the season!
