Taste of South County A Swinging Success

The annual event drew more than 1,200 to Oakville High School.

The hosted the annual Taste of South County Sunday afternoon, and with more than 1,200 people attending,  was full of parents, kids and local businesses.  

More than 20 restaurants and vendors set up shop in the commons to serve food to the attendees and the cafeteria boasted artwork from Mehlville School District students. 

Festival-goers could also enjoy the musical stylings of the district's bands, including the Swing Band.

The band, directed by Thom Skinner, is a jazz-style band that features seventh and eighth-graders.
