The Tigers were supposed to host Fox for their first game Tuesday night. However, due to gym repairs, they were forced to change locations and play in Warrior territory.
The move didn't phase the Tigers as they solidly beat the Warriors 25-18 and 25-11 in their own gym.
"I'm very happy with our first game," said Coach Morgan Lucas. "You're always going to have your first game jitters, but we came out swinging."

Despite the win, Lucas said the team had too many unforced errors. Missed serves and out-of-bounds hits led to a seven-piont Tiger victory in the first contest.
"We can always improve on serve receive; serving let us down in the first game," Lucas said.

The Tigers will take on Seckman next at home Thursday at 5 p.m.
