After weeks of having lovable ladies such as , and visit The Watering Bowl, Stray Rescue decided it was time for the gentlemen to have a turn.
They got together and chose one of the most distinguished-looking pooches around, the one and only Wax! The staff and volunteers at Stray Rescue all agree that he looks like is he dressed for a black-tie affair with his black tuxedo, white shirt, and white spats. Yes, he was a little overdressed for his day at The Watering Bowl, but the ladies weren’t complaining one bit!
Chelsea Girl, a 2 year-old Weimaraner, came down to the shelter on Pine with TWB staff member to pick up Wax. Right then and there, Wax had his first lady completely smitten with him. This continued once he got to TWB and was introduced to all the other beautiful gals.

Ellie the Golden Retriever, Dixie the Husky, and the Terrier mix all vied for Wax’s attention and Wax enjoyed every moment of it!
This 1-year-old Terrier mix also had the boys wrapped around his paws. He is the kind of guy that all the ladies want to be with and all the guys want to be like. Wax has got it all. He spent the day entertaining his new lady friends with leisurely strolls around the play area and cutting loose with the guys. He was in dog heaven!

Wax is one friendly pooch and will do great in any kind of home. He would absolutely love a yard where he can run and play during the day, and warm bodies to snuggle up to at night. When it’s all said and done, though, all Wax really wants is to have someone to love – the rest is just icing on the cake!
