Only a few more days until the new Wendy's opens! Wendy's plans to open Dec. 17, according to a restaurant spokesperson. The South County Chamber of Commerce is planning a ribbon cutting at 5 p.m. on Dec. 17. The burger joint will be in the same lot as the Holiday Inn, Marshalls and Krispy Kreme. Several residents said they wanted a Wendy's in the area in July a Patch story. A Wendy's store was previously located on Lemay Ferry Road.
