Whiz Kid: Beasley Student Proud to Be a Generous Jaguar
Dylan Casteel is a well-rounded, outstanding student who enjoys participating in community service projects.

Key to Awesomeness: Dylan Casteel is only in fifth grade, but he is already a master of managing his time. At Beasley Elementary School, he is an excellent student who is on the Gold Honor Roll and has served on the Student Council. He enjoys serving with the Generous Jaguars, a school group that volunteers for community projects like making sandwiches for the homeless and cleaning up parks. A participant in the district’s STRETCH gifted student program, Dylan excels in his studies. His favorite subjects are math and science, but he enjoys all of his classes.
When not at school, Dylan is actively involved in several sports. He plays baseball for the Kutis Cardinals where he is a pitcher. At St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, Dylan plays volleyball. He also enjoys playing on a soccer team.
A competitor in academics as well as athletics, Dylan was selected to be on Beasley’s Academic Olympics team this year. He enjoyed the challenge of competing against other schools in the district.
An avid reader, Dylan is especially fond of the Percy Jackson series and the 39 Clues books.
Next year, Dylan is looking forward to attending middle school where he plans to join the band program and play the alto sax.
