His accurate putting and long drives in windy conditions stood out among more than 100 young competitors, putting an O'Fallon golfer on a national stage next spring.
   

• Missouri's medical marijuana industry in 'chaos' as hemp THC businesses brace for ban this fall (kcur.org) — A state representative from O'Fallon is at the center of Missouri's new crackdown on intoxicating hemp products, which will push most THC drinks and full-spectrum hemp items into licensed dispensaries starting November 12. The shift could limit online and over-the-counter access for patients who rely on low-dose therapeutic products, while state lawmakers, including O'Fallon's Dave Hinman, prepare to revisit cannabis rules in the next legislative session.
