The roundup also highlights several other regional soccer and volleyball results, keeping local fans updated ahead of Maryville Christian's upcoming regional baseball championship game.
   

• Man accused of using metal spikes to deflate tires of police cars (kmov.com) — An O'Fallon, Missouri man is charged with obstructing government operations and property damage after police say he threw metal caltrops to puncture tires on law enforcement vehicles outside the St. Charles County jail. Surveillance footage, recovered devices, and a subsequent interview led to his arrest, and he's being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond while the case proceeds.
