• 2 firefighters recovering after being injured in O'Fallon house fire (dailydispatch.com) — Two firefighters are recovering after being hurt battling a Sunday house fire on Boatside Court in O'Fallon, Missouri, with one suffering burns and a head injury when part of the garage ceiling collapsed. Crews from Wentzville quickly contained the blaze in about 30 minutes, heavily damaging the second floor but saving the rest of the home.
   

• One killed, four injured in separate weekend crashes at same Highway 61 location (warrencountyrecord.com) — A 29-year-old O'Fallon woman was seriously injured in a Saturday crash at Dietrich Road and Highway 61 that also killed her Wentzville passenger, just a day before another collision at the same spot injured two more drivers. Authorities say both crashes involved vehicles crossing southbound Highway 61, and all injured were taken to area hospitals.
