City Of Olivette: Firestone Update

The new Firestone facility at the southeast corner of Dielman Road and Olive Blvd. is moving quickly. Find out more!

As the skeletal frame nears completion, the next step will be the placement of the exterior sheathing.  Exterior sheathing is a board or panel that may be made of several different materials. It's installed over the exterior walls, and can have several purposes from lending structural support to helping to insulate. 

The sheathing that will be used for Firestone is a metal panel system that will make the building look like a metal building.  But don’t be concerned, the exterior will be covered with a stone and brick finish.
