Party for Packs Event Raises More Than $27,000
Proceeds to benefit agency's Operation Backpack program

Operation Food Search (OFS), a non-profit hunger relief organization, recently raised a record-breaking $27,083 at its third annual Party for Packs event.
OFSβs Friends Board, a diverse group of young professionals vested in feeding the communityβs hungry, held the fundraiser that included local food, drink tastings, a silent auction, and raffles. Proceeds from Party for Packs will support Operation Backpack, which provides weekend meals to food-insecure kids throughout the school year.
βOur Friends Board works tirelessly to ensure our communityβs children are taken care throughout the weekend,β said OFSβs Executive Director Kristen Wild. βWe appreciate the efforts of this very proactive group of individuals and all they continue to accomplish for our agency.β
