SLATE and Ruth's Chris Present 1st Annual Workforce Youth Leadership Awards

Ruth’s Chris Steak House helped sponsor a magical afternoon for 15 St. Louis area city youths who were recently honored  by the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) for their hard work and persistence at the 1st Annual Workforce Youth Leadership Awards. Each student was paired with a top business and civic leader at the lunch which also included an etiquette workshop conducted by Ruth’s Chris. “Leadership development is a core component of the Workforce Investment Act which encourages responsibility, community engagement and teamwork for tomorrow’s workforce,” said Michael K. Holmes, executive director for SLATE. “We are very grateful to Ruth’s Chris and all of our event partners who have made our first awards program such a success.”
