• Sioux Chief Manufacturing Co, Inc. - Clean Water Act Public Notice (epa.gov) — Federal environmental regulators are proposing a $10,000 Clean Water Act penalty against Sioux Chief Manufacturing’s facility in Peculiar, which has now obtained a stormwater discharge permit and certified compliance. Residents have until November 1 to email comments to EPA Region 7 before a final order is issued, offering a chance for local input on industrial water protections near town.
