Springfield Resident Throws First Pitch at Cardinal's Game

Tully Lale, a resident of Springfield, was able to fulfill a lifelong dream and throw out the first pitch at a recent St. Louis Cardinals game. He was on the field at Busch Stadium before the Cardinals took on the Nationals on Monday, Sept. 16 – a College Theme Night that was presented by WGU Missouri. Lale was selected by WGU Missouri to throw out the first pitch after winning an online contest. Lale is a program mentor at WGU Missouri, and his wife Tara is a WGU graduate. Tara Lale was on hand with their children Ellie and Logan to watch him throw out the first pitch.
