Kullmann, Klein & Dioneda Law Firm Buck Convention by Reducing Fees

Attorneys representing personal injury victims typically handle cases on a contingent fee basis, meaning that clients pay the attorney a percentage of what they collect for them, and that the fee is typically one-third of the settlement (33-1/3 percent).  St. Louis-area law firm Kullmann, Klein & Dioneda has announced that it will break from the standard by reducing its legal fees.

 

The firm, which provides legal services in the area of personal injury and workers’ compensation, notes that its decision to lower the cost of legal fees is a necessary response to the current economic climate in which consumers are working harder and getting less for their efforts.

“People in the metro area are still feeling the pinch of the tough economy, particularly in making do with the same wages while the costs of goods and services continue to rise,” said Andrew Klein, Partner at Kullmann, Klein & Dioneda. “Having represented the seriously injured for the past 25 years, we understand that a little relief can go a long way, and this fee reduction is another way in which we can help our clients through an already difficult period.”

 

Due to the increased costs associated with going to trial, Kullmann, Klein and Dioneda will maintain the industry-standard contingency fee.  The fee reduction from 33-1/3 percent to 30 percent applies to all settlements attained on behalf of their clients where suit is not filed.
