Community Choir forming in New Town
First Choir Practice, Tuesday, August 26th at 6:00, open to all Greater St. Charles community; Preview Concert on August 23rd

Is your day better when you start it with a song? Would you enjoy performing with your friends? Are you interested in making new friends and participating in community events?
Director of Music at St. Charles Christian Church, Kiersten Rose, is cordially inviting all interested musicians or singers to attend the first Community Choir practice on Tuesday, August 26th at 6:00 pm at St. Charles Christian Church. This no audition choir is for anyone of high school age and up. No experience is needed, no particular skill level, just enjoy singing a song. You do not have to attend the church to participate. This is a community choir that may sing at other New Town events. “The music will include inspirational songs, hymns, and praise music, “says Kiersten. “People are suggesting that we use this group for Christmas Caroling and other holiday celebrations.”
You can get a sample of the style of music and expertise of the director at a FREE Jazz and Pop concert at New Town amphitheater this Saturday, August 23rd, at 7:00 pm. Kiersten’s band, Adonis Blue will be featured. The quartet is known throughout St. Louis for their jazz-pop stylings. SCCC Worship Band will also do a set during the night. FREE sandwiches, slushies, and kids activities will make this a great place for the whole family. The beach volleyball court will be open and there is a bounce house on the grounds, along with other kid’s activities. Prizes will be given all night from the local merchants.
