"Leadership Strategy Speaker Series"

Ed Mayuga, AMM Communications principal, will present β€œDIY Marketing and Branding,” at the inaugural meeting of the Leadership & Strategy Speaker Series, the newly launched business education program presented by Friends & Alumni of St. Charles Community College, Charter Business and the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce. The speaker series will be held 7:30-9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, at the St. Charles Convention Center located at One Convention Center Plaza in St. Charles.

The Leadership & Strategy Speaker Series will provide business education opportunities to business owners, their management teams and non-profit executives. The presentations are given by well-known experts in their respective fields and are free of charge.

Mayuga’s presentation, β€œDIY Marketing and Branding,” is geared toward business owners, non-profit executives and senior-level managers who have not explored the basics of social media. Β Social media is a tactic for Do It Yourself (DIY) marketing and communications that enables professionals to connect with current and potential clients and customers, but it can be confusing. Β Mayuga will discuss the different strategies and tools, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, HootSuite and Google Alerts to help you jump-start a company’s or firm’s online marketing and branding.

Attendees must pre-register to attend the Feb. 8, β€œDIY Marketing and Branding” session. Please visit the St. Charles Community College website at www.stchas.edu/speakerseries. A continental breakfast will be provided.
