Miles Against Melanoma invites you to attend our 2nd annual family friendly 6.2k run/walk and kids marathon taking place on June 2, 2012. Kids race starts at 6:00pm, 6.2k begins at 7:00pm.

What is a Kids Marathon: The goal of the kids marathon is to bring awarenss and education to sun protection, while promoting good health and physical fitness. The kids have the opportunity to accomplish this goal by running 26.2 miles over a period of several months. They can walk, jog, run or whllchair their way to a marathon in one mile increments and finish the final 1.2 miles on June 2, 2012.

Who is eligible: All children ages 5-12 are encouraged to participate. This is not a competitive race. All children with a bib number will receive a medal for completing a full marathon!
The family friendly event will raise funds and awareness, while providing an atmosphere of family fun, including raffles, kids's activities, refreshments, entertainment, vendors and free give aways. All proceeds benefit melanoma research and your contribution will be full tax deductible as we are a registered 501(c)3 organization.
