Places for People 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Places for People will host its 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, September 21, at Missouri Bluffs Golf Club in St. Charles. Each year, this tournament raises around $60,000 to support core mental health services for those in need.

The day will begin at 11 a.m. with registration and lunch. The fun four-person scramble, with contests and more, begins with a shotgun start at noon. The event concludes with a delicious buffet dinner, silent auction, raffle and awards presentation. The honorary chair of this year’s event is Dan McLaughlin. The event chair is Jim Fox.

The early bird entry fee of $800 per team ($200 per individual) is available until August 1. The early bird fee includes golf, lunch and dinner. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. For a registration form, please visit the Places for People website at www.placesforpeople.org. Call 314.535.2310 to learn more about sponsorships and benefits.

ABOUT PLACES FOR PEOPLE - Founded in 1972, Places for People is a private, non-profit agency that provides innovative and effective mental health services to nearly 4,000 people annually. Places for People has expertise in serving people with multiple disorders (mental health, physical, substance abuse, trauma) and conducts extensive outreach efforts to serve people who would not seek services due to the severity of their illnesses. In 2011, Places for People merged with Community Alternatives to expand the array of recovery-focused programs and services we can offer to parents of at-risk children, young adults, people with serious mental illness, and refugees who are survivors of state-sanctioned torture.
