Hair Saloon announces new location in St. Louis, Mo

New store format is the first Hair Saloon to open since 2009

St. Louis, Mo., December 13, 2016 - Hair Saloon, a men’s premium, traditional neighborhood barbershop, is celebrating growth going into its 20th year in business with the opening of its newest location in St. Peters, Mo at 318 Mid Rivers Mall Drive. The new store format, designed by SPACE Architecture + Design, is the company’s 14th store in the St. Louis region.

Hair Saloon was founded in 1997 and quickly began to open locations to fill the Metropolitan St. Louis area with all existing franchisees starting out as customers. The company sold its first franchise in 2002 and the St. Peters location is the 10th franchise to open.

CEO and president, Tom Twellman, Sr., expressed his goal of growing the company’s presence across the country. “As we’ve continued our growth in the St. Louis region, we recognize the potential that exists in other markets throughout the Midwest. We anticipate Hair Saloon becoming a fixture in at least one other city within the next twelve months, with other cities to follow in the next three to five years,” said Twellman.

The St. Peters Hair Saloon franchise is owned by Scott and Lauren Kaiser of SLK Enterprises, LLC. While this is the Kaisers first franchise, but they already seek to open additional locations in the future. “Hair Saloon has provided us with a tremendous amount of support as we’ve geared up for the opening, including the creation of the vision for the new store design and helping us become a part of the St. Peters community,” said Scott. “We’re proud to have opened this location, which is the first of its kind, with a distinctive and creative architecture space design catering to the core service of all men.”
