FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SAINT LOUIS, MO – HighOrbit Corporation, a software development company specializing in workflow automation for small business, has developed a standardized process to help companies manage purchase order requests and approvals. The Requisition Request is just one of the many business processes available in HighOrbit’s Workflow Starter Kit, which provides a baseline for the most common processes present in companies regardless of industry.
“Since our founding in 2001, we’ve recognized that there are certain functions that all businesses have in place, and the requisition request, or purchase order request, is the most common,” said Brian Dwyer, Workflow Automation Specialist at HighOrbit. “By standardizing that process and allowing the business to track each task associated with it, from request through approval, we provide them with not only operational efficiency, but also with accountability to ensure things get done in a timely manner.”
The purchase order and requisition request process follows a defined workflow and provides tracking, accountability and timely execution that is suitable for any business. The request process starts by completing and submitting the initial form. The system will then determine the appropriate party to approve the request and assign a task for review. The request may be approved or rejected, and gives the approval party the option to ask for additional information from the requester so that he or she may resubmit. After the request is approved by the supervisor and CFO, purchasing is assigned a task to the issue the PO. Any rejection requires entry of an explanation. The process can be used “out of the box,” or can be customized to meet the specific needs of the business.
According to HighOrbit’s Brian Dwyer, the company’s workflow management tool was developed to give businesses a custom model that provides operational effiency. “HighOrbit understands the importance of a very complex workflow that is tailored to businesses that require different needs,” said Dwyer. “We are committed to customizable workflow automated solutions that aids businesses for faster, easier and reliable results.”
