The perception of the contemporary woman varies tremendously from time
and place and How We See Her is an
all-media juried art exhibition of pieces that explore what it means to be
female in today’s society. The exhibition
runs Friday, March 14 – Friday, April 25, 2014 and is free to the public
and open for viewing during regular FAC hours. Saint Louis artist and educator Janice
Nesser-Chu juried the collection of artwork for How We See Her and the exhibition’s award winners will be announced
at the opening reception. The opening reception is Friday, March 14, 2014 from
6-8pm. The
public can enjoy free food & drink along with artful conversation and
observation. The artist studios on the second level of the Foundry Art Centre will
also be open to the public for visiting. Admission, as always, is free. For
more information, please call 636-255-0270 or visit foundryartcentre.org.
